अभय Assuring child’s safety and security

(Design Initiative to Empower Juvenile Beggars)

Introducing the Security band aims to enhance the safety of children, especially those lacking constant parental supervision. Security bands are distributed by Schools, incorporating security and GPS tracking for child monitoring, minimizing potential mishaps. The device responds to a child's significant movements, heartbeats, or cries, activating the microphone and camera. In an alert situation, send the child's data and location to authorities. Additionally, the device's speaker enables police to issue direct vocal warnings on-site, enhancing the efficiency of emergency responses.

Ladakh Dairy

Creating the visual identity of Ladakh involves studying various aspects of the region such as its nature, crafts, food, festivals, clothing, jewelry, and overall culture. From each of these areas, we pick out colors that represent them best.

Once we have all these colors, we choose the ones that work well together and capture the essence of Ladakh. Then, using these colors and keeping Ladakh's identity in mind, we design a mandala—a circular geometric pattern—that reflects the uniqueness of Ladakh. This mandala will serve as a symbol that represents Ladakh's cultural and natural richness.

Minimal expression of the natural forms (Lighting Feature)

In this module, observe animals, birds, insects, and plants closely. Sketch their basic outlines, then create 2D representations with minimal strips. Transition to crafting 3D models using available materials, focusing on spatial dimensions. Despite limitations, aim to capture the essence and simplicity of each form. Then create a lighting feature from that.

Form From Fragrance

This module entailed analyzing a fragrance to understand its essence. We then generated descriptive keywords to capture its intangible qualities. Finally, these keywords were used to create a visual mood board. The board aimed to translate the scent's abstract attributes into tangible representations.
