This project pioneers an innovative approach to making art accessible to visually impaired children. Utilizing contrasting colors and tactile illustrations, it employs techniques such as embossing, 3D printing, and laser cutting to translate visual artworks into touchable representations.

Garam Garam Ladoo Sa Suraj

This project introduces a delightful poem book titled "Garam Garam Ladoo Sa Suraj," written in Devanagari script. Through colorful illustrations, the playful poem comes to life, inviting young readers on a vibrant journey. From sunny rays to birds chirping, each page is filled with fun. It's a joyful celebration of childhood, perfect for kids to enjoy the magic of words and pictures together.

Type Posters

These posters and comic strip were the exploration of the of expressive typography, utilizing only glyphs and characters from the words themselves. With minimal reliance on extra visual icons as words themselves come alive to convey messages.

A collage poster was created using paper clippings to capture the essence of a radio jingle. This was achieved through careful analysis of the advertisement's audiovisual elements.

This poster is based on the iconic radio jingle released in 2004 by Closeup brand.

Mandala Design

State Identity

The intricately crafted mandala is inspired by the vibrant state of Sikkim. Meticulous research of Sikkimese culture, from its colorful festivals and delectable cuisine to its breathtaking landscapes, diverse communities, and art and crafts was done, to curate patterns and a color palette that authentically represent the essence of Sikkim. Witness the fusion of tradition and artistry as these elements come together to form a captivating mandala, a testament to the beauty and diversity of Sikkim's cultural heritage.

Tesselation

The project aimed to create a tessellation using a complex structure. To achieve this, the Planton character was used as a motif, which was then repeated to form the tessellation. Through repetition, the character's features became unrecognizable within the tessellated pattern. Additionally, a mockup was created to showcase the pattern derived from the Planton character within the tessellation

Fruit Packaging

A fruit packaging was crafted, featuring delicate packaging for plums. The design appeals to customers with hobbies such as collecting antiques, ensuring the packaging doubles as a table centerpiece and is suitable for gifting. Additionally, an advertisement was created to showcase the aesthetics of the packaging while highlighting the high quality of fresh plums contained within.

Table Planter

Collaboration with artist

The product “table planter” was made by terracotta artist. Mr. Prajapati.

The collaboration’s motive was to have an artist bring life to the design provided by student, while giving them artistic freedom in terms of adding their own elements to the design, during the process of creation of the design. Thus, the end product here is the result of an active collaboration between the me and the terracotta artist.
